Started on the built-ins around the fireplace... they are nearly done... need to box in the front and add the trim.

My buddy Nick Wiggins (The Mark of Cain) ( website, there is a myspace page too... but i can never get to it) came to town for a week and worked on some people... He plans to make a regular thing of it if people are interested... anyway... so we are now a dojo/tat place;) Let me know if you are interested... he may be back in a month... book now!!

So, we are building a house and I put up a blog for the project

So, both our boys have pretty bad food allergies... Kane to nuts, and Roan to Yogurt (not milk and cheese, which is weird).  So one thing that we have run into is people thinking it is not that big of a deal.  This is mostly because people use the word "allergy" rather flippantly.  Lots of people say "I am allergic to X" when really X gives them stomach problems, or something like that... perhaps those are better described as intolerances... for example, there is a very large difference between lactose intolerance and a yogurt allergy... one is not deadly, the other is.  To make things clearer... and to help people who will be watching Kane and/or Roan, we put together a little document on how to recognize the reactions (its pretty easy) and what to do.  It will stay in the links section at the right-hand side of Budobeer.
